About

Complex projects move forward when everyone pushes in the same direction.

I am a project manager working at the intersection of management, design and artificial intelligence, with government, non-profits and companies. What drives me is the impact a good project can have on people’s lives.

01 — Journey

From startups to the public sector

I graduated in Economics from Unicamp in 2016, right in the middle of the startup boom. That is where I started: using design to help impact-driven and disruptive businesses create digital products and services. I loved — and still love — seeing how a new business can change people’s lives.

Over time, I realized that bringing the same logic to the non-profit and public sectors could create an even greater impact. That is when I decided to dive into this world: I went back to Unicamp to study Public Administration and, since 2022, I have worked as an associate consultant at Catálise Social.

Today I lead the executive management of the INSPIRE Program, a federal artificial intelligence initiative funded by FINEP. Along the way, I have worked with Enap, AGU, Brazil’s Ministry of Education, the Federal Court of Ceará and UNDP, AECID and Instituto Unibanco, among others.

02 — How I work

What clients usually highlight

01

Assertive communication

I speak clearly with both decision-makers and the people doing the work, so everyone knows what comes next and why.

02

Flexibility and diplomacy

Projects with many institutions involve different interests. My role is to mediate and find the option that moves the project forward.

03

Making the complex simple

I turn tangled problems into clear choices that can be discussed, decided and carried out.

04

Going beyond what is expected

Every deliverable has to be truly useful to whoever will use it — and, whenever possible, a little better than what was asked for.

03 — In numbers

240+

deliverables tracked in the INSPIRE Program

20+

public innovation labs in 5 countries

10

Federal Court services redesigned

50+

experts consulted for AGU/PNDD

04 — Outside work

Rugby, scrum and alignment

Outside work, I play rugby — a team sport that demands communication and collective effort all the time.

It is no coincidence that Scrum, one of the most widely used agile methods in project management, borrowed its name from the game. The scrum is the moment when eight players push together, in a coordinated way, in the same direction, against the eight players of the other team. Without alignment, nobody moves.

Complex projects are the same: the result depends on everyone pushing in the same direction.
